This is my first venture outside London and it's one I'm super excited to tell you all about. It's a restaurant and pub with bedrooms - a lot to take in, right? I know...

It's ultra British luxury and my vision for this place is to be one of the most sustainable pubs in the UK. Nestled in the stunning countryside of Old Windsor, chilled and beautiful - then we come along and shake things up slightly (come on, you all know me by now)! 

It's open 7 days a week, every day of the year, with all day-dining and an eco beer garden in the back. We have our own vegetable gardens, orchard and flower beds and an area for composting our biodegradable waste. The water used in all of our sinks will be recycled as toilet water, minimising water waste and solar panels, installed on the roof, will reduce our electricity consumption.

Ā You might think The Loch & the Tyne is a bit of a weird name for a new restaurant but there's an important reason behind it, I promise. A core ethos behind my group has always been the development of my team and so I'm super proud to announce that @chefstevenkerr, former Group Exec Chef and @jonathanmcneil, former Head Chef at @adamhandlingchelsea , will be the Co-Chef Proprietors of @lochandtyne. Steven and Jonny have both worked for me for over 10 years and it's great to be able to give them their opportunity to really shine. I first met Steven in Newcastle in 2008 and Jonny in St. Andrews in 2010. There we have it, The Loch & the Tyne is born!

I’ve always dreamed of having a pub as part of the group and to have Steven and Jonny, who have both worked with me for such a long time, at my side is such a great feeling. They aren’t just my team, they’re my best friends and have helped me to build my restaurant group. I’ll be visiting them every Sunday for a roast and a pint!

We open our doors on 17th May and I can't wait to see you all there.

I'm very excited to be a part of this project with I'm very excited to be a part of this project with my friend, @mattbirdspeaker at @rebottlingwine 

We all know I’m a big wine guy - I love great wines and Champagnes and definitely drink them a lot! (It’s my Scottish side of me)

I've picked 3 bloody incredible wines and 3 mega sustainable snacks to pair with the wines.

This event is going to be great, it's a live on a Zoom... yes, yes we are all sick of Zoom but this one is done by an incredibly talented production team and we'll be having a laugh and enjoying some great food and wine, so it will be much more fun. 

We will be live so you can ask me questions about anything and Matt can take the lead on more in-depth questions about wines. It's going to be super chilled.

This will be one last virtual event before the shackles of lockdown get lifted.

I'm so excited to announce that my flagship restau I'm so excited to announce that my flagship restaurant and bar, @frogbyah and @evebarldn in @coventgardenldn , have survived lockdown and will be reopening for dinner on 18th May.
 
I thought I'd let you into a little secret and tell you about a few changes that I've made to the restaurant. 

I've given the place a fresh new look, we've got an incredible new menu and we are really coming back fighting from this bloody nightmare of a lockdown. 

We've also changed our opening hours to Wednesday-Saturday lunches and Tuesday-Saturday dinners.

I'm not afraid to say that we are gunning for that @michelinguide star... 

And now from the heart! -

There is no doubt that it's been incredibly difficult for everyone this lockdown. Hospitality has been hit hard and, if I’m honest, I almost lost the whole group. When we created @hamebyah , our home delivery service, we had absolutely no idea that it would become the lifeline for the group. This is all down to the amazing support of all my lovely guests - I really am indebted to you all and you'll never know how much I appreciate it.

So pop into @frogbyah and @evebarldn , as I'd love to say thank you to you all in person.

Cleverson is my head chef of @frogbyah and one of my best friends. He is one of the nicest guys in this industry - but you wouldn’t want to cross him (cut throat cleverson🤫🤭) ! He’s very shy, keeps himself to himself and doesn’t get near enough credit for what he does at the restaurant!! I love you mate!
